       Fall Novice Program 2009

Novices (New Rowers)

Grades 8, 9, 10

Five weeks beginning (TBA)

When: Mondays & Wednesdays 5-7pm

Cost: $100

Our goal is to have novices racing each

other by the end of this season.

Must have completed one or more Learn-to-Row sessions.

Junior Competitive Program

(Experienced rowers only)

Season: Eight weeks beginning (TBA)

When: Monday thru Saturday

Time: M-F 5:30-7:30pm, Saturday 8-10

Note: practice times may vary depending upon the coaches’ schedule

Cost: $350 (include all race entry fees)

Spring Junior Competitive Programs

Spring Racing Season: Junior rowers who are affiliated with a high school rowing team row for their high schools during the Spring.

  • Equipment: Boats that are purchased jointly with the SCRC belong to the club and are stored and insured by the club. If space is available, boats that are privately owned by the school may be stored by the club. Storage fees will be charged and the school must provide insurance.

  • Fees: Each high school team is assessed a “Facilities Fee” per team, as determined by the Board.
